The Kutlu Party has filed a criminal complaint with the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople and several church priests regarding claims concerning islands in the Aegean Sea.
In a press statement issued by the party, it was stated that the criminal complaint in question is based on allegations that islands in the Aegean Sea have been occupied in conjunction with Greece.

Following the criminal complaint, Ümit Yalım, Deputy Chairman of the Kutlu Party and former Secretary General of the Ministry of National Defense, made a statement to members of the press.
