Speaking to Sözcü, Denizli noted that the notification had been left at the courthouse and said the following:
"I was in Ankara, and I am now returning to Çeşme. I will receive the notification tomorrow. I do not know what the matter is about.
They called me and said, 'You need to give a statement.' I have no information on whether I am a witness or a suspect.
If we are summoned, we will go. I have no concerns. "
