Landslide during infrastructure work in Mardin! 1 person lost their life
Vedat O., a 26-year-old plumber, lost his life after being trapped under soil during a landslide that occurred while infrastructure work was being carried out in the Kızıltepe district of Mardin.
A landslide occurred during sewage work being carried out in the Mezopotamya neighborhood.
Vedat O. (26), who was performing plumbing work at the time, was trapped under the soil. Upon notification, 112 Emergency Health, fire department, AFAD, and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
It was determined that Vedat O., who was pulled from under the soil through the intervention of the teams, had lost his life. The body was taken to the Kızıltepe State Hospital morgue.
