Landslide in Güroymak: Animals fell into the valley
Four water buffaloes that fell into a valley following a landslide in Güroymak were rescued through the mobilization of villagers.
In the Gölbaşı town of Bitlis's Güroymak district, animals fell into a valley as a result of a landslide. Villagers rescued the 4 water buffaloes from where they had fallen.
According to the information received, the water buffaloes in a herd that had been taken by their owners to graze on Mazı Mountain, located on the slope of the town, fell into a deep valley on the mountain due to a landslide. Help was requested from the village for the water buffaloes, which their owners were unable to rescue on their own. The villagers who went to the scene mobilized to save the water buffaloes that had fallen into the deep valley. Reaching the animals trapped in the valley with the help of ropes brought from the village, the villagers rescued the 4 water buffaloes from where they had fallen.
