Largest drug seizure in Bursa's history

The Bursa Narcotics Crimes Investigation Branch has seized the largest amount of methamphetamine in Bursa's history. Bursa police, who apprehended 4 drug barons, including 2 foreign nationals, in an operation at their homes in Istanbul, seized 27 kilograms and 165 grams of methamphetamine before it could be distributed, following searches of the suspects' homes and vehicles.

The Bursa Narcotics Crimes Investigation Branch placed 4 individuals, including two foreign nationals, who were involved in drug trafficking, under technical and physical surveillance. The police teams tracking the suspects determined that the 4 individuals resided in Istanbul. With the support of the Istanbul Narcotics Crimes Investigation Branch teams, the units launched an operation at dawn and apprehended the drug barons S.D., A.O., T.O., and M.K.G. at their residences. During the searches conducted in the suspects' homes and vehicles, 27 kilograms and 165 grams of methamphetamine and a precision scale were seized. The individuals, who were taken into custody by police teams, were brought from Istanbul to Bursa to be referred to the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. The processing of the 4 suspects at the police station is ongoing.
