Latest development at Kalamış Marina: Koç Group reports

Vahit Karaarslan had won the tender for the Fenerbahçe Kalamış Marina, which belongs to the Turkish Maritime Organization, and the result of the tender had been published in the Official Gazette.

Before the tender was held, Tek-Art Kalamış ve Fenerbahçe Marmara Turizm Tesisleri Anonim Şirketi, owned by Koç Holding, which held the operating rights to the marina, had submitted a bid of 504 million dollars.

KARAASLAN HAD WITHDRAWN FROM THE TENDER

According to a report by Haber Denizde, following Karaarslan's withdrawal from the tender, Koç Holding, which submitted the second-highest bid, was invited to sign the contract.

In a statement made by Koç Holding to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), it was announced that its subsidiary, Tek-Art Kalamış ve Fenerbahçe Marmara Turizm Tesisleri Anonim Şirketi, had been invited to sign the contract.

The statement included the following expressions:

“In the letter sent today by the Privatization Administration (ÖİB), it was stated that with the Presidential Decree dated 14.09.2024 and numbered 8967, published in the Official Gazette dated 15.09.2024 and numbered 32663, the top three bidders who submitted the highest bids for the tender were approved, and that in accordance with the provisions of the Tender Specifications, the bidders are being invited to sign the contract in order. As the bidder who submitted the second-highest bid of 504,000,000 USD, Tek-Art has been invited to sign the contract on February 5, 2025.”
