Lawsuit filed by İmamoğlu against diploma cancellation rejected
The lawsuit filed by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu against the cancellation of his diploma has been rejected.
The lawsuit filed by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor and CHP presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu, who is currently detained at the Marmara Prison in Silivri, regarding the cancellation of his undergraduate diploma, has been rejected unanimously by the Istanbul 5th Administrative Court.
Lawyers for the detained İBB Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu filed the lawsuit at the Istanbul 5th Administrative Court on May 6, 2025, against the cancellation of his diploma. The request for a stay of execution against the decision by Istanbul University to cancel his diploma was rejected.
The hearing for the lawsuit filed by İmamoğlu against the decision to cancel his diploma was held on January 15.
The lawsuit filed by Ekrem İmamoğlu against the cancellation of his diploma was rejected unanimously by the Istanbul 5th Administrative Court.
