Lawyer Mehmet Ruşen Gültekin calls on Kılıçdaroğlu's lawyer regarding the 'indictment': 'He is a former judge'

While the CHP is focused on the trial at the end of June regarding the party convention investigation, the indictment related to this case continues to be a subject of debate. While many lawyers argue that the indictment regarding the convention is empty, a striking post came from Lawyer Dr. Mehmet Ruşen Gültekin.

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's lawyer had stated to Barış Yarkadaş, "It is not possible for us to know for certain today whether the convention was clean or suspicious. However, one thing is clear: Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has no involvement or connection to this process."

Addressing the former CHP Chairman's lawyer through his statement regarding the indictment in question, Gültekin issued the following call for him to express his opinion on the indictment:

"Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's lawyer is a former judge. He can read an indictment technically better than anyone else. Moreover, he is the attorney for the victim in that file. Therefore, he is closely involved. 

His client essentially said, 'Even if nothing happened, something happened,' and an investigation was opened. He said, 'I was stabbed in the back,' and an indictment was written.

 In summary, everything is written in the indictment. In my opinion, there isn't even an 'allegation' in the indictment. The lawyer should not kick the ball into touch. He should clearly explain his opinion."
