Leak occurs in truck carrying acid
A leak occurred in a truck carrying acid containers in Batman.
According to the information received, a leak occurred from containers loaded with acid on an Iranian-origin truck in the Diktepe area on the Batman-Diyarbakır highway.
The driver, who pulled the truck to the side of the road, reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
Upon the notification, AFAD and fire department teams were dispatched to the scene. After securing the perimeter, they neutralized the acid by diluting it with water using a fire truck.
