Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli's call for Abdullah Öcalan, the leader of the terrorist organization PKK, to 'come and speak in Parliament' has stirred up political corridors.

On the other hand, the request of DEM Party Şanlıurfa MP Ömer Öcalan, the nephew of the terrorist leader Öcalan, to visit İmralı was accepted. It was claimed that Öcalan met with Abdullah Öcalan yesterday. However, AKP sources argued that the fact that this meeting coincided with Bahçeli's statements was a 'coincidence'.
