Leaked from the corridors before the congress began: AKP MKYK list is out! Here is Erdoğan's new A-Team...

The AKP is holding its highly anticipated 8th Grand Ordinary Congress at the Ankara Sports Hall.

Before the congress, AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed the party members who came to follow the congress in front of the hall. Stating that the attendance outside was 60 thousand, Erdoğan moved into the hall after his speech.

Before the congress began, the list for the AKP's Central Decision and Executive Board (MKYK), Central Disciplinary Board, Central Headquarters Intra-Party Democracy Board, and Political Virtue and Ethics Board was leaked.

The list includes former football player Mesut Özil, as well as Serap Yazıcı, who was elected as a deputy from the CHP lists and resigned from the Future Party yesterday (February 22).

On the other hand, it was observed that İdris Hatipoğlu, Dursun Ataş, Ünal Karaman, and Seyithan İzsiz, whom the AKP transferred from the IYI Party, were also on the list.

Bülent Arınç's son Mücahit Arınç, Melih Gökçek's son Osman Gökçek, and artist Mahmut Tuncer's son Mehmet Umut Tuncer were also among the notable names on the list.

ERDOĞAN INCREASED THE NUMBER OF DEPUTIES

Meanwhile, AKP Deputy Chairman for Political and Legal Affairs Hayati Yazıcı announced that three new chairmanships would be added to the Central Executive Board with the charter amendment to be made at his party's 8th Grand Ordinary Congress.

Reporting that 3 new chairmanships were established within the scope of the charter amendment, Yazıcı shared the information: "The name of the Deputy Chairmanship for Environment, City and Culture is being changed to 'Responsible for Environmental and Urbanization Policies'. 3 new chairmanships are being established: 'Deputy Chairmanship for Relations with Turkic States', 'Deputy Chairmanship for Health Policies', and 'Deputy Chairmanship for Culture and Art Policies'."

Thus, the number of AKP deputy chairmen, including the AKP Spokesperson and the Secretary General, will be increased from 16 to 19.

Deputy Chairman Ali İhsan Yavuz and Secretary General Fatih Şahin also took part in the Charter Commission chaired by Yazıcı.
