Legendary chip brand returns to Turkey: Its price has become a subject of debate
The world-famous chip brand Pringles, which withdrew from the Turkish market years ago, has returned to the shelves.
Pringles, which once had a large fan base in Turkey, had not been on the shelves for a long time. The brand, which first entered the Turkish market with the advertising support of Star Gazetesi, owned by Cem Uzan, is known as one of the most consumed chip brands in the world.
IT HAD WITHDRAWN FROM TURKEY
In past years, news that Pringles had withdrawn from the Turkish market had come to the agenda, but no official statement was made by the company. The product, which has not been available in Turkey since that time, has been put on sale again.
ITS 330 LIRA PRICE TAG CAUSED A STIR
A photo shared on social media revealed that Pringles is being sold for 330 liras in Turkey. Citizens pointed out the price difference in Turkey compared to the product, which is sold for 1.87 dollars in the USA and between 2 and 4 euros in Europe.
