Families of fallen soldiers and veterans have left 41 days behind in the sit-in protest they started in Ankara with the demand that their personal rights be granted.

The new location of the protest is Kurtuluş Park.

According to Müyesser Yıldız from 12punto, the first visitors to the veterans and families of martyrs who spent the night there were Ebru Eroğlu, the top graduate of her class, and lieutenants İzzet Akarsu, Batuhan Gazi Kılıç, and Deniz Demirtaş, who were dismissed from the Turkish Armed Forces 2 years ago for crossing swords and reciting the Officer's Oath after the Military Academy graduation ceremony and saying, "We are the soldiers of Mustafa Kemal."
