Local rival to Dubai chocolate from tradesmen: 900 liras per kilo!

Dubai chocolate, which contains shredded wheat (kadayıf), pistachio paste, and tahini, has become quite popular recently. Gaining popularity rapidly, especially due to the influence of social media, Dubai chocolate is attracting significant interest in Eskişehir, just as it is around the world.

Tradesmen, striving to keep up with customer demand, have found a different solution by creating a new delicacy called 'Dubai Turkish delight'.

900 LIRAS PER KILO!

It has been learned that the product, which blends the flavor of Dubai chocolate with Turkish delight, is sold for approximately 900 liras per kilo, and tradesmen stated that there is intense interest from citizens.

"PEOPLE ARE CURIOUS BECAUSE THE NAME IS POPULAR"

Nut shop owner Kamuran Ünlü said that his customers are showing interest in Dubai chocolate-style products.

Regarding the subject, Ünlü said, “After Dubai chocolate, we have now made Dubai Turkish delight. The content is the same as Dubai chocolate; shredded wheat, tahini, and pistachio paste. Our product is currently in high demand. Almost all chocolate companies are releasing products during this period anyway.

Of course, because the name is popular, people are curious and want to buy it. Other than that, I think it is a normal chocolate. Some citizens keep asking for it, while others are now quite indifferent because they see it everywhere.

DUBAI CHOCOLATE HAS ALSO DIVIDED TRADESMEN

As tradesmen, we are divided because of Dubai chocolate. Dubai Turkish delight appeals to a certain segment. Currently, the price of Dubai Turkish delight is around 900 liras per kilo.

As for Dubai chocolate, 100-gram packages are sold in the 200-lira range, varying according to the weight. Of course, what determines this is definitely the ratio of pistachios inside,” he said.
