Madımak message from Kılıçdaroğlu
In a message shared regarding the Madımak Massacre, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu stated, "This pain reminds us once again how valuable equal citizenship, secularism, the will to live together, and social peace are."
The statement on Kılıçdaroğlu's X account is as follows:
"Madımak is not just the name of the lives we lost in Sivas; it is the name of a deep wound opened in the conscience of this country.
We commemorate our intellectuals, artists, and citizens who were torn from us on July 2, 1993, with respect and longing.
This pain reminds us once again how valuable equal citizenship, secularism, the will to live together, and social peace are.
Their memory will continue to live on in the struggle for a more democratic and fairer Turkey."
