Mahmut Arıkan announces his condition, saying 'I would sit at the table with the People's Alliance'!

Saadet Party Chairman Mahmut Arıkan, in his assessment of political contacts and potential collaborations, stated, "I would sit with anyone, I would even sit at the table with the People's Alliance." Arıkan noted that such meetings could only take place if the principle of "morality and spirituality-based politics" is upheld. Furthermore, commenting on the recent debates surrounding the National Solidarity, Brotherhood and Democracy Commission and the İmralı process, Arıkan expressed that MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli should provide information to the commission in a closed session.

Mahmut Arıkan announces his condition, saying 'I would sit at the table with the People's Alliance'!

Saadet Party Chairman Mahmut Arıkan participated in the "Tartışma Zemini" (Discussion Ground) program hosted by Nagehan Alçı on Ekol TV, where he made assessments regarding current political issues.

WE ARE OPEN TO ALLIANCE TALKS

Responding to a question regarding debates on alliances, Arıkan stated that he could meet with all political structures and expressed that he could meet around the same table with the People's Alliance. However, emphasizing that the Saadet Party's fundamental principles cannot be compromised, Arıkan used the words, "Whatever we do, we must first produce morality and spirituality-based politics. This is based on justice."

CALL TO BAHÇELİ FOR THE COMMISSION

The program also addressed the work carried out by the commission and the debates surrounding Bahçeli's statements. Arıkan argued that the step Bahçeli will take regarding the process is important, but that this briefing should not be done in front of the public, but rather under the roof of the commission. Stating, "Mr. Bahçeli should come to the commission. He should say things in a closed session that he has not said to everyone," Arıkan emphasized that the information Bahçeli would convey directly to the commission would be more valuable than statements made to the press.

"IT SHOULD BE SHARED DIRECTLY IN THE COMMISSION"

Arıkan concluded his assessment with the words, "Just as Hakan Fidan and İbrahim Kalın come and make presentations, Mr. Bahçeli should also speak on the subject of the commission. The information he will share is valuable. I would find it more appropriate for the consensus to be shared face-to-face with the commission, rather than through a newspaper interview."
