Mahzen-5 operation in 4 provinces: 3 separate organized crime groups dismantled
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that 3 separate organized crime groups were dismantled in simultaneous Mahzen-5 operations carried out in 4 provinces.
The Gendarmerie General Command carried out simultaneous Mahzen-5 operations in 4 provinces centered in Eskişehir, Istanbul, and Aydın.
Within the scope of the operation, 3 separate organized crime groups led by Hayati Uğur in Eskişehir, Gökhan Yaşlı in Istanbul, and Ahmet Hano in Aydın were dismantled.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya stated in a post on his X (Twitter) account that 36 people, including the ringleaders, were apprehended in the operations.
