Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that 95 suspects were apprehended in the "Kuyu-32" and "Kuyu-33" operations conducted against 8 separate organized crime groups across 7 provinces. In a statement on his social media account, Yerlikaya stated that a "planned and projected operation" was carried out against 8 separate organized crime groups led by Erkan Bulu in İzmir, Vahdettin Yardım in Kahramanmaraş, Mehmet Elagöz Bildik in Konya, Selçuk Delikara and İhsan Astam in Sakarya, Cuma Ali Dursun (in prison) in Gaziantep, B.G. (who is detained abroad) in Bursa, and Rıdvan Dündar (in prison) in Siirt.

‘WE WILL NOT GIVE THE GANGS ANY ROOM TO BREATHE’
Using the phrase, "As a result of the operations, 95 suspects who are members of organized crime groups were apprehended," Yerlikaya stated, "We will not give any room to breathe to those who are arrogant in their crimes, those who disturb the peace of our people, organized crime groups, and gangs. No matter how large they are, we will dismantle organized crime groups."

Reporting that 24 unlicensed pistols, 11 unlicensed rifles, 1 automatic pistol, 9 sharp/piercing tools, various amounts of narcotics, and a large number of checks and promissory notes were seized during the operations, Yerlikaya congratulated the Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices that coordinated the operations and the police who carried them out.
