Major development in FETÖ 'umbrella case': Former AKP MP İlhan İşbilen falls ill and is hospitalized
80-year-old former AKP MP İlhan İşbilen, who is being tried in the FETÖ umbrella case that the Court of Cassation has overturned twice, fell ill in the courtroom. İşbilen, who previously suffered two strokes, has been taken to the hospital.
In the case known as the FETÖ "umbrella case," the judicial process had been restarted due to reversal decisions issued by the Court of Cassation.
In this context, 80-year-old former AKP İzmir MP İlhan İşbilen appeared before the judge again among the defendants.
According to information provided by journalist and 12punto columnist Müyesser Yıldız, İşbilen, whose health had deteriorated during the trial process, fell ill during the hearing and was removed from the courtroom.
HAD SUFFERED TWO STROKES
It was noted that İşbilen had suffered two strokes while he was previously in prison.
