Major disrespect from Trump's security detail in the room where he was to hold a press conference: They forcibly removed everyone
While every step taken by Donald Trump, who came to Turkey for the NATO Summit, is being closely followed, the security measures taken by his bodyguards continue to draw criticism at times. Most recently, Trump's security detail acted disrespectfully toward members of the press and officials on duty in the room where the press conference was to be held, under the pretext of conducting a search.
Journalist Erdem Atay, who reported on this disrespect and disregard for rules by Trump's security detail on his social media account, expressed his reaction to the events with the following lines:

"Let me tell you about a disgrace.
American security guards have taken over the room where US President Trump was to hold a press conference.
Even though our Turkish security authorities and bureaucracy had taken all kinds of security measures, the American security guards entered the room and said they would conduct a bomb search. They removed local and foreign press members and our officials on duty from the room. They also threatened those who resisted by saying, 'We will not allow those who do not want to leave into the press conference.'

They made everyone wait outside the room for about 40 minutes.
That wasn't enough; they also removed the prepared podium and set up their own.
There cannot be such recklessness, such rudeness, and such disregard for rules that is outside of diplomacy!
Allowing this is also unacceptable!

The necessary response must be given to this state that tries to humiliate us in our own country!
Or are we going to swallow this too?"
