Male body found on Mount Spil in Manisa
A male body has been found in a mountainous area in the Şehzadeler district of Manisa.
According to the information obtained, a person in the Turgut Özal neighborhood noticed a body at the base of a rock on the foothills of Mount Spil and reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
Upon the report, gendarmerie and search and rescue teams were dispatched to the scene and reached the area after an approximately 5-hour climb.
After his identity could not be determined, the body was taken to the Merkezefendi State Hospital morgue.
An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
