Man attempts to hang himself after being denied sacrificial meat
In the Talas district of Kayseri, a person who was allegedly denied sacrificial meat fell into a depression and attempted to hang himself from an electric pole.
Kayseri's Talas district, in the Reşadiye Neighborhood, was the scene of an incident at a sacrificial slaughter area where a Romani citizen identified as A.D. allegedly could not receive sacrificial meat.
Falling into a depression, A.D. attempted to hang himself from an electric pole located there with a rope.
Butchers at the sacrificial slaughter area noticed the situation and saved A.D. by cutting the rope.
A.D. was taken by ambulance to the Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine Hospital by medical teams who arrived at the scene following a report, where he was placed under treatment.
Police teams conducted an investigation at the scene where the incident occurred.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
