Man injured after being trapped under vehicle he was praying in front of

The accident occurred on the road to the town of Sulusaray in Nevşehir. According to the information obtained, the driver of the car with license plate 50 BG 933, Mustafa E., went to his own vineyard to harvest grapes. At that moment, İsmail D., who had come from Niğde to buy grapes from a neighboring vineyard, stepped in front of the vehicle parked by Mustafa E. to perform his prayers.

RESCUED WITH THE HELP OF BYSTANDERS

After harvesting grapes from his vineyard, Mustafa E. got into his vehicle and started moving, striking İsmail D., who was praying in front of the car. Upon the notification of citizens who witnessed the accident, medical, gendarmerie, and police teams were dispatched to the scene. İsmail D., who was pulled from under the vehicle with the help of bystanders, was taken under treatment at Nevşehir State Hospital by medical teams.

"HE WAS IN PROSTRATION, I DIDN'T SEE HIM"

Describing the accident, the vehicle driver Mustafa E. said, "After I got grapes from my vineyard, I got into my car and started driving. This man was praying in front of the car. He was in prostration, I didn't see him. When I started moving, I realized there was an obstacle in front of the vehicle.

At that exact moment, a sound came, saying 'I'm dying, I'm stuck.' At first, I didn't understand; I thought it was coming from the tape player. I got out and looked, and half of the man was trapped under the car," he said.
