Man stabbed in Bağcılar after being mistaken for someone else has died
27-year-old Veysel Şirin, who was attacked with a knife by 3 people in Bağcılar, Istanbul, after being mistaken for someone else, has lost his battle for life.
In Bağcılar, Istanbul, 27-year-old Veysel Şirin was subjected to a knife attack after being mistaken for someone else.
In the incident that took place the day before on Cami Yolu Street in the 15 Temmuz neighborhood, Syrian national suspects mistook Veysel Şirin for a person with whom they had a dispute over a debt. Şirin was attacked with a knife by the individuals.
Şirin lost his life at the hospital where he was taken.
Teams from the Public Security Branch Office's Murder Bureau apprehended 6 suspects in connection with the incident. The suspects' processing at the police station is ongoing.
