The incident occurred on Malazgirt Street in the Turgutalp neighborhood. Sevda Ç. (30), who was on her way home, encountered Sezgin A., from whom she had separated in 2023, waiting in front of her apartment building. During their conversation, Sezgin A. proposed that they get back together. The woman did not accept the proposal.
Sezgin A. stabbed the woman and fled. The injured woman was taken to İnegöl State Hospital by ambulance after receiving initial intervention from 112 Emergency Health teams at the scene. It was learned that the woman, who works as a DJ and soloist at wedding events, is in good health.
Police apprehended the fleeing suspect in a short time. After his statement, Sezgin A. was referred to the courthouse and released under judicial control conditions.
