Mansur Yavaş's 'If there is no justice, there is no bread' outburst! 'While the principle is trial without detention...'
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş reacted to the arrest of Beyoğlu Mayor İnan Güney.
Beyoğlu Mayor İnan Güney, who was detained in the 9th wave of operations targeting the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB), has been arrested. With İnan Güney, the number of CHP mayors currently held in prison has risen to 16.
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Mansur Yavaş reacted to the arrest decision regarding İnan Güney.
In a post on his X account, Yavaş stated, "When it comes to CHP mayors, unfortunately, the law works in reverse," and added the following:
"While the principle is trial without detention, in our country, trial with detention is being made the rule, and trial without detention the exception.
Do you not see that trust in justice has been destroyed in all polls?
This is the reason for these practices, which have no basis anywhere in the law.
Do not forget: If there is no right, law, or justice, there is no food; there is no work; there is no bread."
