Mansur Yavaş makes statement following 'investigation permit' development: I just learned about it
The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has requested an investigation permit from the Ministry of Interior regarding Mansur Yavaş and his chief of staff as part of the 'concert' investigation into the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB).
Following the development regarding the 'investigation permit' requested for Yavaş, while many reaction messages came from CHP figures, the subject of the matter, Mansur Yavaş, also made a statement.
The prosecutor's office requested permission from the Ministry of Interior to launch an investigation into ABB Mayor Mansur Yavaş and Chief of Staff Nevzat Uzunoğlu.
A statement came from Mansur Yavaş regarding the investigation permit requested from the ministry.
ABB Mayor Yavaş responded to a question on the subject from Sözcü's Saygı Öztürk by saying, "I just learned about the matter, but I do not have much information regarding its content. I will examine the matter in more detail tomorrow morning."
Mansur Yavaş stated that he would respond to the allegations regarding his inclusion in the investigation with a written statement.
