Mansur Yavaş reacts to 'de facto punishment'
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş shared a message of reaction regarding the appointment of a trustee to TELE 1.
Yavaş expressed his reaction to the decision to appoint a trustee to TELE 1 during the ongoing process following the detention of journalist Merdan Yanardağ.
Mansur Yavaş, who reacted to the censorship regarding the trustee development on his social media account, used the following expressions:
"The press is free and cannot be censored!
The appointment of a trustee to TELE 1 while the statement procedures have not even been completed amounts to a de facto punishment issued before the trial process has concluded."
