Mansur Yavaş reacts to Karalar's arrest: Based on a contradictory statement

Mansur Yavaş issued a statement on his social media account regarding Adana Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeydan Karalar, who has been issued an arrest warrant.
Yavaş used the following expressions:
"Zeydan Karalar is Adana, and Adana is Zeydan Karalar!
If an allegation dating back 11 years is being used as grounds for an arrest today based on a contradictory statement, then it is not the law at work here; other agendas are in play.
We are not against prosecution. But we want a fair, independent, and impartial judiciary.
Because the law cannot be bent or twisted according to time or politics.
Zeydan Karalar is the will of the people. Period!
He is a mayor who has won the hearts of the people of Adana and is a figure who has been fighting against corruption since the day he took office."
