Mansur Yavaş reminds Google of 'Atatürk'
Mansur Yavaş reacted to Google removing the phrase "Founder of the Republic of Turkey" from the search results for the Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
Six months ago, following a call from Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Mansur Yavaş, Google had added the phrase "Founder of the Republic of Turkey" to the search results for the Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
Google has suddenly removed this phrase.
Reacting to the removal of the phrase in question, Mansur Yavaş quoted his own post from 6 months ago addressed to Google and stated, "Are we going to have to update this post every 6 months? It is time to remind you of the 'Founder of the Republic of Turkey' phrase again..."

Here is the Turkish translation of the English post Yavaş made 6 months ago:
We invite Google to update the title of our esteemed leader and founder, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, to reflect his true legacy: "Founder of the Republic of Turkey." This correction is important to accurately honor his monumental contributions.
