Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş responded to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's remarks regarding the 1915 events, stating, "A person who has massacred thousands of innocent children, women, and civilians in Gaza with bombs; who uses hunger and thirst as weapons; and who has razed hospitals and schools to the ground has no right to say a single word in the name of humanity."

Mansur Yavaş responds to Netanyahu's remarks on the 1915 events

In a statement on his social media account, Yavaş reacted sharply to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's remarks regarding the 1915 events.

Yavaş used the following expressions:

"Netanyahu, who has gone down in history as a perpetrator of crimes against humanity due to the occupation, massacre, and oppression he has inflicted upon the Palestinian people for years, targeting our country by distorting the 1915 events is the most concrete indicator of hypocrisy, corruption, and shamelessness.

A person who has massacred thousands of innocent children, women, and civilians in Gaza with bombs; who uses hunger and thirst as weapons; and who has razed hospitals and schools to the ground has no right to say a single word in the name of humanity.

The Turkish nation will never accept the slanders directed at its history. I strongly condemn Netanyahu's statements and emphasize once again that he cannot wash the blood of innocent people stained on his hands with lies."
