March 8 International Women's Day post from the Ministry of National Defense: 'As infinite as the sky, as upright as the mountains'

"Be proud of your work, my Turkey. They are the fearless female soldiers of our Turkish Armed Forces, as infinite as the sky, as vast as the seas, and as upright as the mountains. They are the unsung heroes who have achieved the most difficult tasks and become a source of pride for the noble Turkish nation. And each one of them is a success story that has sworn to give their life for this homeland.

On the occasion of March 8 International Women's Day, we wish a happy Women's Day to all women, especially the mothers, wives, and children of our martyrs and veterans, as well as the personnel serving in our Ministry of National Defense. Remember, you are the loudest voice of our nation marching toward victory," the statement read.
