FIRST PRIZE GOES TO "DELİBAŞ AVRAT AĞACI"

In the competition, which received applications from over 800 women from both within Turkey and abroad, the best entries were determined following a meticulous evaluation by a jury composed of female journalists, artists, and writers.

The provinces that submitted the most stories were Diyarbakır, Muğla, Bursa, Mersin, Hatay, and Batman. Participation in the short story competition crossed borders and even oceans. Women from 17 different countries, from the United States to Azerbaijan, and from Canada to Malta, sent their stories by saying NAME: WOMAN.

At the award ceremony, Selin Altunkaynak Vodina, who participated in the competition from France with her striking story titled "Delibaş Avrat Ağacı," took home the first prize.

The second prize was presented to Pınar Gözpınar for her story "Leyla(k)," and the third prize was awarded to Hava Kantar Yıldırım for her story "Gördüğüm Lüzûm Üzerine." Eda Uysal was also deemed worthy of an honorable mention for her story "Pembe Oda."
