Martyrs of the 12th Air Transportation Main Base Command
Nine personnel from the 12th Air Transportation Main Base Command were martyred in a military cargo plane crash in Georgia while en route from Azerbaijan to Turkey.
It has been learned that 9 personnel serving at the 12th Air Transportation Main Base Command in Kayseri were martyred in the plane that crashed in Georgia, which was carrying 20 personnel.
The martyred personnel were identified as Air Pilot Major Serdar Uslu, Air Pilot Major Nihat İlgen, Air Pilot First Lieutenant Cüneyt Kandemir, Air Aircraft Maintenance Senior Master Sergeant Nuri Özcan, Air Aircraft Maintenance Senior Master Sergeant Ümit İnce, Air Aircraft Maintenance Master Sergeant Burak Özkan, Air Aircraft Maintenance Master Sergeant Emrah Kuran, Air Aircraft Maintenance Master Sergeant Emre Altıok, and Air Aircraft Maintenance Master Sergeant Burak İbbiği.
