The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into social media influencer and beauty center owner Selin Ciğerci and her ex-husband Gökhan Çıra, following a 'money laundering' investigation initiated by MASAK.
Following the arrest of Dilan Polat and Engin Polat, a couple who frequently make headlines with their luxurious lifestyles, on charges of money laundering and tax evasion, investigations into other social media influencers continue.
Journalist Murat Ağırel reported that an investigation has also been launched into Selin Ciğerci and Gökhan Çıra, following the seizure of assets belonging to 14 social media influencers, including Eylül Öztürk, Özlem Öz, and her husband Tayyar Öz.
In a post on his social media account, Ağırel stated the following:
