Mass resignation in protest of İYİ Party headquarters and provincial chair
Following the resignation of the İYİ Party district chair in Bilecik's Gölpazarı district in recent months, 6 more people have resigned.
İYİ Party Gölpazarı District Chair Mehmet Seyit Küçük had resigned from both his post and his party last April. In recent days, Göksel Aydın, who was the İYİ Party's candidate for Mayor of Bilecik in the March 31 Local Administration Elections, and Hatice Yiler, the İYİ Party's Bilecik Central District Chair, also resigned, citing their heavy workloads as an excuse.

Finally, Ömer Cihangirli, who was the İYİ Party's candidate for Mayor of Gölpazarı in the March 31 Local Elections, along with İYİ Party Gölpazarı Provincial General Assembly Member Candidate Metin Berberoğlu, Acting District Chair Recep Tuna, Deputy District Chairs Celal Sezgin and Aziz Dönmez, and Municipal Council Member Candidate Fikret Yıldız, resigned from their positions and party memberships.
In a joint statement following the resignations, the group said, "We have resigned in protest of Provincial Chair Yusuf Paçacı, who has acted with an egoistic management style since the day he took office, and the İYİ Party headquarters executives who have turned a deaf ear to our problems."
