Massive hike in EFT fees from banks: Attention to those sending money via IBAN
The 2025 tariff that will apply to all banks for money transfer transactions has been announced.
While EFT fees have been increased by the 44.38 percent inflation rate announced for 2024, the amount brackets have also been raised at the same rate.
NEW EFT FEES ANNOUNCED
In the practice that will be effective starting tomorrow, the deduction amounts to be taken as a basis for money transfers to be sent to different bank accounts are as follows:
For money transfers up to 6,300 TL, the EFT transaction fee, which was 4.43 TL, will be 6.39 TL starting tomorrow.
For transactions between 6,300 lira and 304,800 lira, the EFT commission will increase from 8.86 TL to 12.79 TL.
For every transaction made above 304,800 lira, banks will charge their customers a commission of 159.97 lira.
