On its 105th anniversary, the May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day will be celebrated with enthusiasm across the country, and streets and avenues will be adorned with flags.

Here are the celebration programs in some provinces:

ISTANBUL

The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality's May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk and Youth Day celebration began on May 17.

The May 19 celebrations will be held at the Maltepe Event Area on the Anatolian side.

In the final concert event to be held today, names such as Edis, Hey Douglas and Guests, Gaye Su Akyol, Evrencan Gündüz, Güneş, Nova Norda, Evdeki Saat, and Aybüke Albere will be on stage.

In Beyoğlu, the artist who will give a concert will be Candan Erçetin. The concert program to be held at the IMM Miniatürk parking lot in Sütlüce on May 19 will first begin with a DJ performance at 20:00, and Candan Erçetin will take the stage at 21:00.

ANKARA

The Ankara Metropolitan Municipality will bring residents of the capital together with their favorite artists on May 19. The concerts that began on May 17 will continue today with Mor ve Ötesi.

Çankaya Municipality has turned the holiday into a major festival with young people. A treasure hunt, dance shows, street tournaments, art workshops, e-sports events, and cooking competitions where young chefs will meet will be organized in Çankaya. The CHP Youth Branches will march from Güvenpark to Anıtkabir at 10:00.

SAMSUN

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel will celebrate May 19 in Samsun. According to the statement made by the CHP Samsun Provincial Presidency, Özel will move to Samsun at 15:00 after attending the official ceremonies in Ankara in the morning. Following the welcoming ceremony at the Tobacco Pier (Tütün İskelesi) organized by the CHP Samsun Provincial Organization, a wreath-laying ceremony will be held at the Atatürk Monument.

CHP Chairman Özel will meet with young people at the Youth Camp in Atakum Çakırlar Grove at 17:00. Özel will attend the CHP Youth Branches Central Executive Board meeting at the facility.

IZMIR

Events prepared by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality for the May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day will spread throughout the city. The "Youth, The Stage is Yours" event will be held at the Ahmed Adnan Saygun Art Center (AASSM) at 19:00. 19 musicians selected from among young people aged 14-20 who want to give an acoustic concert will be on the AASSM stage. Following the DJ performance at Gündoğdu Square, the famous artist Sıla will meet with the people of Izmir at 21:00. The Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Pop Orchestra will take the stage at 21:00 at the 75th Year Park in Dikili.

BURSA

Today is the final day of the "Bursa Youth Festival" prepared by the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality to celebrate the holiday with enthusiasm. The festival, which is free and open to the public, includes concerts, competitions, tournaments, and obstacle courses. Emre Fel will take the stage at 20:30 today, and Blok3 will perform at 22:00. The enthusiasm of May 19 will reach its peak with the magnificent performances of famous artists. The Bursa Youth Festival will take place free of charge.

ANTALYA

The Antalya Metropolitan Municipality is organizing lantern processions and concerts in Antalya and Alanya.

A Lantern Procession will be held from Konyaaltı Variant to Republic Square (Cumhuriyet Meydanı). Following the lantern procession, the famous artist Buray will give a concert at Republic Square. The beloved name of pop music, Buray, will perform his most beautiful songs for the people of Antalya at 21:00.

The enthusiasm of May 19 will also be experienced in Alanya. In the event to be organized in cooperation with the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality and Alanya Municipality, a meeting will be held in front of the Atatürk Monument at 20:00 for a Lantern Procession. The celebrations in Alanya will continue at 21:00 with a concert by the band Yüzyüzeyken Konuşuruz behind the Municipal Building.
