May Day events in Ankara to take place at four different locations

May Day, International Workers' Day, will be celebrated in Ankara at four separate locations with the participation of various unions. While DİSK, KESK, TMMOB, and TTB will gather at Tandoğan Square, Türkiye Kamu-Sen will hold its event at Kolej Square, Memur-Sen at Anıtpark, and Türk-İş in front of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance.

May Day events in Ankara to take place at four different locations

In Ankara, the Confederation of Progressive Trade Unions of Turkey (DİSK), the Confederation of Public Employees' Trade Unions (KESK), the Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects (TMMOB), and the Turkish Medical Association (TTB) will celebrate May Day at Tandoğan Square. Participants will gather at the AKM Metro exit at 12:00 PM and march to Tandoğan Square, with the rally scheduled to begin at 1:30 PM. The event will continue at 3:00 PM with a concert by Erdal Güney.

In line with the decision of its Board of Presidents, Türk-İş has decided that each regional presidency will hold celebrations in its own city. In Ankara, a press statement will be issued at 11:00 AM in front of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance.

The Memur-Sen Confederation has chosen Ankara for its central celebrations. Following a decision made at its General Assembly meeting, workers will meet at Anıtpark in Bahçelievler at 11:00 AM.

Meanwhile, Türkiye Kamu-Sen will celebrate May Day by gathering at Kolej Square at 12:00 PM. These events will showcase the solidarity and unity of workers and laborers in Ankara.
