'May Day' raids in Istanbul! All detainees arrested
In Istanbul, 27 people who were detained during the third wave of house raids on May 21 regarding May Day were referred to court with a request for arrest. The court reported that all 27 individuals have been arrested.
In Istanbul, 27 people who were detained during house raids on the morning of May 21, targeting those who wanted to march from Saraçhane to Taksim during the May Day celebrations, were referred to the duty magistrate judge with a request for arrest.
In a statement made by the Progressive Lawyers Association (ÇHD) Istanbul Branch on its social media platform, it was announced that the 27 detainees had been brought to the courthouse and their statements to the Prosecutor's Office had been completed.
The ÇHD announced that all 27 individuals were referred to the duty magistrate judge with a request for arrest.
The interrogations were conducted by 3 separate magistrate courts in groups of 9.
With the decision rendered by the courts, all 27 people who were detained on the morning of May 21 were arrested.
