Maydonoz Döner put up for sale: TMSF announces tender date

The Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) has decided to put the commercial and economic integrity of the Maydonoz Döner Group, for which it was appointed as trustee, up for sale. Operating in Turkey and abroad with 390 branches, Maydonoz Döner will be offered for tender with an estimated value of 2 billion 801 million TL.

TENDER DATE AND CONDITIONS

According to the announcement by the TMSF, the sales tender for Maydonoz Döner will be held in Istanbul on October 15, 2025. The deadline for investors wishing to participate in the tender has been set for October 14, 2025. To participate, a deposit of 280 million 100 thousand TL must be submitted. Various options such as cash, bank letters of guarantee, or government bonds will be valid as a deposit.

Applications to participate in the tender will be made via a sealed-bid procedure, and candidates will be required to submit documents in accordance with the specifications by the specified date. In the first stage of the tender, the sealed bids will be opened to determine a shortlist, followed by an open auction. Participants will be able to earn the right to participate in the tender by depositing the specified amount.

SALES DETAILS

The sales announcement included the following information:

"The deposit amount required to participate in the tender is 280,100,000 TL. Cash, letters of guarantee, or Republic of Turkey Government Bonds, Treasury Bills, and Treasury-Guaranteed Bonds will be accepted as a deposit."

"The documents specified in the tender specifications must be submitted to the 'Sales Commission' as 1 original and 1 copy, and the financial envelope as 1 original, by 16:00 on 14.10.2025. Documents submitted after this date will not be evaluated."

The tender will be held on October 15, 2025, at 11:00 at the TMSF's conference hall in Esentepe. The tender process will begin with the opening of the financial bids submitted in sealed envelopes and will then proceed to an open auction.
