Çorum Mayor Halil İbrahim Aşgın conducted an inspection at the Saturday Market alongside municipal police teams. During the inspection, arguments broke out between him and the market vendors. Mayor Aşgın noticed the way some vendors were treating citizens and issued warnings.
"CUSTOMERS ARE NOT FLIES, THEY ARE BENEFACTORS"
When a vendor referred to his customers as "flies," Mayor Aşgın demanded action be taken against the vendor, stating, "Customers are not flies, they are benefactors. Anyone who speaks like this cannot do business here." Aşgın drew attention to some vendors due to their behavior.
INTERVENTION IN MARKET DISPUTE
During the inspection, a dispute occurred between a citizen and a vendor in the market. Noticing the incident, Mayor Aşgın listened to both sides and ordered the vendor's stall to be shut down, saying, "No one will deceive anyone; the customer is always right."
