Mehmet Uzun, the Mayor of Erfelek in Sinop, was seriously injured after falling down stairs. It was reported that he suffered a brain hemorrhage.
Mehmet Uzun, the Mayor of the Erfelek district in Sinop province, was seriously injured after falling down stairs and suffered a brain hemorrhage.
Uzun was transferred to Sinop Atatürk State Hospital, where he has been placed under treatment.
In a statement issued by the Sinop Municipality, it was stated: "We extend our best wishes for a speedy recovery to Erfelek Mayor Mehmet Uzun, who is currently under treatment at Atatürk State Hospital after suffering a brain hemorrhage due to an accident, and we hope he returns to his duties in good health as soon as possible."
