Medyaradar blocked by court order: Lawyers take action
Access to the website Medyaradar.com has been blocked by a court order.
According to the decision dated July 30, 2024, and numbered 2024/6987, issued by the Istanbul 3rd Criminal Court of Peace, access to the Medyaradar website has been blocked.
Only those accessing the site from foreign IP addresses or via Twitter are currently able to read the news on Medyaradar. Users are able to access the site by using VPN applications or through Twitter.
It has been reported that the site, which can still be opened on some operators, will soon be blocked individually across all providers.
Medyaradar's lawyers have taken steps to lift the access ban.

ACCESS BAN HAD ALSO BEEN IMPOSED ON CRITICAL NEWS
The Demirören Group had previously imposed an access ban on a critical news report regarding the live broadcast of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's speech to the US Congress on CNN Türk.
Following this decision, Medyaradar columnist Varol Ersoy published an article titled, "Why did CNN Türk become the mouthpiece for a child killer?"
In his article, Ersoy wrote, "They saw no harm in broadcasting a significant portion of Netanyahu's speech live and with audio on their screens. Moreover, this was despite Ted Turner, the founder and board member of CNN International, who has been pressured by the Jewish lobby to resign for claiming that Israel is committing war crimes against Palestinians..."
