Mehmet Metiner issues 'pro-government media' warning to AKP
Former AKP deputy Mehmet Metiner stated that the AKP was stronger during periods when there was no pro-government media, and asked his followers for the reason behind this.
Former AKP deputy Mehmet Metiner, who was one of the biggest supporters of the new resolution process and reacted to calling PKK terrorists 'terrorists', made a noteworthy post on his social media account.
Stating that the AKP was at odds with a large portion of the media in the first years it came to power, Metiner argued that the party was nevertheless politically stronger.
Implying that the pro-government media is harming the AKP, Metiner asked, “The AK Party was much stronger in those early days when there was no AK Party media, and when almost the entire media was aligned against it. Why do you think that is?”
