Mehmet Sevigen: The CHP has one chairman, whether you like it or not

Sevigen spoke at the CHP Headquarters ahead of the statements to be made by Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu.

Stating that the chairman of the CHP is Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, Sevigen expressed that the events in front of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) today were unacceptable.

Emphasizing that the CHP had provided all opportunities to Özgür Özel, Sevigen added that the Özel side was acting wrongly.

"The party has one chairman. That Chairman is Kemal Bey"

Emphasizing that the Chairman of the CHP is Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, Sevigen said,

"Kemal Bey acted with common sense and called his friends here. The other friends do not have such a concern or thought. Because they have parliamentary immunity, but the friends outside do not have immunity. When they clash with each other, they will go to the same neighborhood, the same city.

Tomorrow they will clash there, but Kemal Bey did not give an opportunity for this. The side that really needs to resolve the issue is Özgür Bey and his friends. The CHP has one chairman. That is Chairman Kemal Bey. Whether you like it or not.

This board has made a decision, it is now finalized. If you fight this, you will be upset, you will go to court, to the judiciary. The Chairman says, 'I will work with the Group Chairman'.

The Group Chairman says he will come and speak in the group. But closing the board room at night because you have a majority of deputies, occupying it, and bringing in your advisors is not pleasant.

I wonder if such an image pleases Özgür Bey? This party has granted you all the opportunities, most likely granted by Kemal Bey. They are doing wrong. I hope they come to their senses," he said.
