Mehmet Türk appointed as Deputy Chief Executive of İş Bankası
According to a statement from İş Bankası, the Board of Directors of Türkiye İş Bankası has decided to appoint Başkent Corporate Branch Manager Mehmet Türk as Deputy Chief Executive of the Bank, following the necessary notifications to and approvals from the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK).
Graduating from the Middle East Technical University Faculty of Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering, Türk completed his master's degree at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University Department of Business Administration and earned his doctorate in Contemporary Business Management at the Işık University Institute of Social Sciences.
Starting his career at İş Bankası in 2000 as an Assistant Specialist in the Treasury Department, Türk held various positions in the same department before becoming Treasury Manager in 2017.
Appointed as Başkent Corporate Manager in 2021, Türk completed an advanced management program at Harvard Business School in 2024.
