Memet Ali Alabora joins Ekrem İmamoğlu protests in London

The arrest of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and CHP presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu has sparked widespread reaction across the globe. In this context, various protest demonstrations were also organized in London.

Famous actor Memet Ali Alabora, who has an outstanding arrest warrant against him due to the Gezi Park protests and has been living in London, the capital of the United Kingdom, for some time, shared photos from the protests he attended.

Participating in the demonstrations held in London, Alabora captioned his post with the phrase "There is no salvation alone."

GEZI TRIAL AND AFTERMATH

An arrest warrant was issued for Memet Ali Alabora, who played an active role during the Gezi Park protests, on charges of "attempting to overthrow the Government of the Republic of Turkey or to prevent it from performing its duties." Following these developments, Alabora settled in the United Kingdom approximately nine years ago.
