Memur-Sen: We have decided not to take the collective bargaining agreement minutes that resulted in a deadlock to the Arbitration Board

Following the 8th Term Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiations, which concern millions of civil servants and civil servant retirees, failing to reach a consensus, the confederations at the bargaining table signed deadlock minutes.

Memur-Sen, which was at the table for the salary negotiations, announced that it has decided not to take the deadlock minutes to the Public Officials Arbitration Board.

The written statement issued by Memur-Sen regarding the matter is as follows:

"The 8th Term Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiations, which we conducted with the principle of 'justice in income, balance in wages' and for which we worked hard to build peace in the workplace and raise the income levels of civil servants and retirees, have resulted in a deadlock due to the Public Employer's insistence on a lack of solutions.

As Memur-Sen, we have decided not to take the meeting minutes signed regarding the 8th Term Collective Bargaining Agreement, which resulted in a deadlock, to the Arbitration Board, and we have not applied to the Arbitrator. Respectfully announced to the public."
