As part of the investigation, AK Party Çorlu Municipal Council Member Nuri Köşkdere, whom Erzan referred to as one of the "people I received money from for the purpose of investing," has resigned from his party and his council membership.
Köşkdere, who had been referred to the party organization's disciplinary board, stated in a petition he sent to the Çorlu Mayor's Office today that he was resigning for health reasons.
In his petition, Köşkdere stated, "I respectfully request the acceptance of my resignation from my position as a Çorlu Municipal Council Member, which I have held since 31/03/2019, due to health reasons."
Nuri Köşkdere also resigned from his party with a petition sent to the party organization.
